Disney Dollars, issued from 1987 to 2016, are a type of currency and souvenir issued by the Walt Disney Company, both sold and redeemable on Disney Property.
Every Disney Dollar with a serial number is unique within its series and denomination.
The serial number always includes a prefix letter and a number. Some notes also have a suffix.
The Prefix is the letter that begins the serial number. It indicates the original source of the note, as shown here:
