Antique Art Nouveau Carved Angelskin Pink Conch Shell of Bacchante Maiden.  Carving is executed in high relief in exquisite detail. Large size!  Truly a wearable work of art.  An antique treasure to pass down to the next generation. There are 2 hairline fracture lines/ cracks in the cameo as can be seen in the photos... I have discounted the cameo accordingly.  I do not think that they detract from the beauty of this lovely antique piece.
Cameo has its original pin and fold over locking c clasp which is hallmarked by the maker.  Mount is hand wrought 14k Yellow Gold.  It also has a fold down bale allowing cameo to be worn as a pendant.  Cameo measures approximately 2" x 1 1/2".  Weight is 18.3 grams.
