Filigree Style Bracelet, Purple Stone, Signed PSCO, 1920s

Description

This stunning filigree style bracelet is made of a lightweight metal, probably rhodium plated. It is accented with a large bezel-set, open-backed amethyst purple stone. It is signed "PSCO" on the box clasp, a mark of the Plainville Stock Company of Plainville, MA. The company has been active from 1884 to the present. The bracelet measures about 6 1/4" long including clasp, suitable for a smaller wrist. The large center piece measures about 1 5/8" x 7/8".
Condition is excellent with no major issues. The stone has very light surface wear and a couple of tiny flea bites, all age-appropriate and not at all concerning. You can also see a couple of dark spots on the metal, on that large center pieces near the edges. The decorative box clasp functions perfectly.
